Finally, what started with a simple submission to MorFest from an Irish band has matured in the form of Castlepalooza - a very unique gathering of Irish bands at Ireland's gothic masterpiece; Charleville Castle.

Years of small scale magical events have built the reputation of Charleville Castle as the key sponsor of innovative and creative acts in Ireland.

Who wouldn't want to palooze at Charleville Castle?

This year's format sees the forecourt bound by the castle to the south, the bar to the southwest, the main stage to the west, weather canopy to the northwest, festival stalls to the north, with stage 2 to the north east. Ceramic WCs and toilets to the east and the kitchen to the north east. The Castle is open to all this year to relax and enjoy while 12 hours of non-stop music holds the attention of 500 lucky participants.

Tickets are scarce for this one-day music fest.

Only 500 tickets have been issued this year. On the night of Castlepalooza we all want to get to know each other. 24 bands of the widest possible variety - bands who are already long established, young bands - but bands that are setting the pace for the new music scene in Ireland -- these are the creators of this event.
